THE NEW VISUAL EXPERIENCE

Build your own light sculptur.

LÆV is not a fixed sculpture.

It is a modular system designed to generate light structures through assembly, interaction and perception. Each LÆV object is composed of precision, cut acrylic elements that connect through a system of slots and intersections. Instead of defining a single final form, the system allows structures to evolve depending on how the elements are combined. The result is a light sculpture that changes with orientation, light conditions and the arrangement of its parts.

The LÆV system is based on three fundamental roles: carriers, connectors and disturbers.

Carriers form the structural foundation of a sculpture. They define the main geometry and hold the composition together. Their position determines the overall balance of the structure.

Connectors link different planes and elements. They allow parts to intersect and create spatial relationships between individual components. Connectors stabilize the structure while enabling complex assemblies.

Disturbers introduce asymmetry and variation. They interrupt regular patterns and create visual tension within the sculpture. By shifting balance and direction, disturbers transform simple assemblies into dynamic compositions.

Because every element can be rotated and combined in multiple ways, a single set of components can generate a large number of different structures. Small changes in orientation or placement alter the entire composition. This makes each assembly unique while still following the same underlying system.

The sculpture is therefore not defined by one fixed form, but by a set of structural possibilities.

Light plays a central role in the  LÆV  system.

The acrylic elements interact with light through reflection, refraction and shadow projection. As the sculpture changes, the behavior of light changes with it. Surfaces capture and redirect light, creating shifting color reflections and geometric shadows.

Because of this interaction, light becomes part of the structure itself rather than something applied to it.

LÆV structures are not intended to remain static. They are systems that allow continuous reinterpretation through assembly, orientation and light. Every configuration reveals a different relationship between structure and perception.

Instead of producing a single object, the LÆV system enables the creation of many possible light sculptures from the same set of elements.

LÆV does not define a single sculpture, it defines a system for creating many.
